From IES Frei Martín Sarmiento we would like to thank the NOVOS CINEMAS Festival of Pontevedra, and in particular Suso Novás, its Artistic Director, for inviting us to enjoy various activities designed for our students in 1st and 2nd Bachillerato.
Last week we were lucky enough to go to the Teatro Principal to watch some great short films by Xacio Baño, in the AULA+NUEVOS07///ENCUENTROS CON CINEASTAS, accompanied by the author, with whom we were able to have a very emotional and enriching chat.
We enjoyed the film “The hill where the lionesses roar” directed by Luàna Bajrami, fantastically commented by Suso, and which left a really deep impression on us.
And this week we were fortunate enough to host the Festival in our school as Suso, together with author Tamara Gobierna, showed us and commented on several short films that left us not indifferent at all, the last of them made by Tamara herself. This kind of activities inspire us a lot… we can’t wait to enjoy the next one!
